TERRORIST gunmen have stormed a church in Russia with multiple dead in a reported hostage situation.
Gunmen stormed the building in Grozny, Russia, in a bid to take hostages – killing two police officers and a churchgoer.
Interfax news agency reports the gunmen have been “eliminated” by security services in a fierce gunfight.
The Church of Michael the Archangel in Grozny, the capital of Russia’s Republic of Chechnya, was attacked this afternoon.
Mr Kadyrov said: “The militants entered St. Michael the Archangel’s Church, targeting to capture churchgoers.
“All four militants were eliminated in the held special operation.”
