Child Molester Stopped from Illegally Re-Entering U.S.
Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley Sector stopped a previously deported child molester from successfully making his way back into the U.S. interior.
Agents assigned to the McAllen Station apprehended an illegal alien on October 24 near the Texas border with Mexico. The man had just crossed the border illegally near the town of Penitas, Texas, according to information provided to Breitbart News by Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol officials.
The agents arrested the man and transported him to the McAllen Station for processing and a biometric background investigation. During a records check, the agents identified the man as a Honduran national who has a previous conviction for sex crimes against a child.
A court in Miami-Dade, Florida, convicted the Honduran man on charges of fondling a child and indecent exposure, Border Patrol officials reported. The court sentenced the man to four months in jail and added a five-year probation.
As a previously deported sex offender, the Honduran national could now face felony charges in the Southern District of Texas for aggravated re-entry after removal. If convicted on the charge, he could face up to 20 years in federal prison before being removed again to his home country of Honduras.
The man is the third previously deported child sex offender arrested by Border Patrol agents in less than a week. See more here
ICE Arrests 4-Time Deported Mexican National in New York
U.S. immigration officers arrested a Mexican national in New York who had been deported from the U.S. on four separate occasions. In addition to the removals, the man has a lengthy criminal history.
Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officers arrested 50-year-old Adrian Solis-Castro in Queens, New York, on October 25 following his arrest by local law enforcement officials for a charge of forcible touching, according to information obtained by Breitbart News from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials.
Officials said that Solis-Castro is a Mexican national who has been deported from the U.S. on four separate occasions. A background investigation on the Mexican national revealed a criminal history that includes three felony drug convictions and a federal conviction for illegal re-entry after removal. Read more here
Ocasio-Cortez: Caravan Migrants are ‘Refugees’ with ‘Legal’ Right to Asylum in U.S
Socialist Democrat candidate for Congress Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in New York’s 14th District says the caravan of between 7,000 and 10,000 migrants is comprised of “refugees” who have a right to claim and seek asylum in the United States.
Ocasio-Cortez, who has led the Democrat Party’s “abolish ICE” movement, said the migrant caravan headed to the U.S.-Mexico border in order to overwhelm the country’s asylum and immigration system should not be referred to as a “caravan,” but rather as a group of “refugees” who have a legal right to enter the country.
“These are refugees using legal routes to seek & apply for asylum,” Ocasio-Cortez said of the caravan. “At this point, if you are an outlet adopting the president’s language to describe this as a ‘caravan,’ you‘re playing yourself. And letting him play you.” Read more here
Invasion of the country snatchers
Is it more than coincidence that thousands of migrants from Central America are seeking to enter the United States illegally just two weeks before the midterm election? Who are these people? Who’s paying for their transportation, food and expenses? Why doesn’t the media find out? Is this migrant caravan a ploy by Democrats to win sympathy from Hispanic voters so they’ll reverse their growing approval of Trump administration policies and vote against their interests?

Where Will The Migrants In The Caravan Stay If They Seek Asylum In The US?
Several thousand migrants from Central American countries are headed to the U.S. in a caravan. Those who reach the border are expected to petition for asylum, but there are multiple options for where individuals will stay as they wait for their cases to make it through the immigration court backlog.
Migrants can claim asylum once they reach the U.S., and many make it over the first hurdle of proving they have “credible fear” of returning to their home country.
A person is granted asylum if they can prove they fled their home country because of persecution on the basis “of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion.” But that first hurdle is not a guarantee of asylum. Immigration court backlog can also slow down the asylum process. The non-detained docket has a backlog of over 700,000 migrant family cases. Read more here
Illegal alien faces prison for voter fraud: ‘Been voting since at least 1994’
An illegal immigrant living near San Antonio pleaded guilty this week to fraud and identity theft charges after admitting he used a citizen’s identity to vote.
Sixty-three-year-old Enrique Salazar Ortiz reportedly voted in numerous elections over the past 24 years using the name Jesse H. Vargas Jr. – a former San Antonio resident who moved to California decades ago, the San Antonio Express News reports.
“He’s been voting since at least 1994,” Bexar County elections administrator Jacque Callanen said. Read more here
Reporter thwarts raft of Illegals crossing Rio Grande
Fox News reporter Griff Jenkins inadvertently thwarted a raft of illegal aliens attempting to cross the Rio Grande River this week during a visit to McAllen, Texas, the closest port of entry for a growing caravan marching toward the nation’s southern border.
Jenkins and his camera crew hid in the bushes along the river’s edge and eventually came across at least six illegals attempting to cross the Rio Grande in a raft.
Jenkins called out to the group, but a man paddling the raft quickly scampered back to the other side of the river. Read more here
